The airline Wizz Air has moved the announced start date of the Lviv-Dortmund route for March 26, 2018.
Previously, it was planned to open the flight from May 21, writes the profile resource avianews.com.
"Low-cost airline Wizz Air will start flights from Lviv to Dortmund from March 26th - by two months earlier than the announced date," the statement reads. Ticket sales are already open. The frequency of flights thus remains at the same level - they will be performed twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Initially, Wizz Air planned to start flights from Lviv to Dortmund from May 21st. This is the third by the score change of Wizz Air plans to increase its presence on the Ukrainian market in the last few weeks. In December 2017, this airline postponed from May to September the start of flights from Lviv to London from May to September, and delayed the start of flights from Kyiv to Lisbon and Tallinn for two months and increased frequency of flights in previously opened routes. Later in Wizz Air, the change in plans for the Kyiv directions was explained by the delay in receiving the third aircraft to the base of Zhulyany due to commercially grounded reasons.
According to the announced plans, in 2018, Wizz Air will open flights from Kyiv to Tallinn and Lisbon, from Lviv to London, Dortmund, Katowice and Gdansk, as well as will resume flights from Kharkiv, and will start flights to Dortmund and Katowice.
