Today, in Transcarpathia, wages arrears began to be paid off to the budget employees of the region.
The salaries are transferred first of all to employees of educational institutions of Volovets and Mizhhirshchyna, where the most difficult situation is, since the wage arrears reach three months or more, Gennady Moskal, head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, said.
"The stabilization grant from Kyiv, which we had been expecting since September, has finally arrived in Transcarpathia. The funds have already been transferred to the districts and have been received by banks, therefore, from now on state employees begin to receive money earned in previous months," the regional head said.
According to him, salaries will be paid to state employees of other districts, where there were also arrears.
In addition, "on December 13 we expect from Kiev a medical subvention, which too will be used to pay off debts to employees of the medical sphere," said Gennady Moskal.
