Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has said that two high-ranking officials of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), who coordinated an operation on giving bribes to employees of the State Migration Service, will arrive for questioning to the Prosecutor General's Office on Monday, December 4.
"I also received information that NABU employees who coordinated this operation, at least two high-ranking officials, will arrive for interrogation on Monday. We are not planning to detain anyone in this regard," he said at a briefing in Kyiv ..
At the same time, he said that at this stage "we found understanding with [NABU Director Artem] Sytnyk and [Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Nazar] Kholodnytsky that in the future it is unacceptable to use the proposal to take deliberately illegal decisions as a check whether officials are corrupt."
