The Armed Forces of Ukraine now employ 120,000 contractors.
This was announced during a briefing by spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Colonel Maxym Prauta.
According to him, more than 17 thousand people, including 1200 officers, were recently admitted to the military service under the contract.
The reserve for the first-time military men, according to Maxim Prauta, was created from the beginning of the defense reform and amounts to almost 130,000 people.
