As part of the introduction of a new Ukrainian school, more than 20 thousand Ukrainian teachers will undergo retraining.
This was stated by Minister of Education and Science Lilia Grinevich in an interview with the newspaper "Day".
"It is important for us, regardless of whether they will adopt the law or not, in the next school year to be able to retrain over 20,000 teachers who will take the first class of the New Ukrainian school in 2018-2019," said Grinevich.
Let's remind that the Law "On Education" introduces 12-year secondary education.
The law also provides for the financial autonomy of educational institutions, which allows for the use of a variety of sources of income and public control over their use. School leadership will be selected on a competitive basis, school attestation will be eliminated.
