Such a statement was made by Ukraine's representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group Iryna Gerashchenko.
Speaking at the 95th Rose-Roth Workshop in Kyiv, she noted that most of the mines in the occupied territories were completely destroyed. The catastrophic situation arose in connection with the flooding of several mines, as well as around the Donetsk filtration station, which supplies water to residents of front-line settlements and cities.
Iryna Gerashchenko once again claimed that Russia bears the responsibility for this situation.
