Over 190 thousand Ukrainians fell ill with flu and acute respiratory diseases last week

“During the third reporting week of the epidemic season, 190,205 people, including 55.7% of children under 17, fell ill with influenza and acute respiratory diseases. The sickness rate among the Ukrainian population totaled 446.6 per 100,000 people,” reads the report. The highest sickness rate was registered in Volyn region, western Ukraine, while the lowest rate – in Kharkiv region in the country's east.
