"Crown Agents" has fully complied with the Ministry of Health's order and purchased medication for the treatment of respiratory disorders in newborns, which is one of the main causes of mortality in the first weeks of life of babies.

"Crown Agents" fully fulfilled the task, while saving budget funds amounted to more than UAH 800 thousand," a statement says.
In total, from the State Budget of 2016, UAH 51.1 million were allocated for procurement under this program for the purchase of 5,013 medicines. According to the Ministry of Health, medical institutions are already provided with 96% of the necessary medicines to rescue children. 4% of supplies are currently in preparation for shipment.
The ministry also informed that "Crown Agents" make procurements at the expense of state budget funds for the Ministry of Health of Ukraine under 12 programs in total at UAH 1,066 bln.
The potential savings of budget funds for program purchases, coordinated by "Crown Agents," amount to more than UAH 124 million, which is planned to be directed to additional purchases in the respective areas.
Recall that in July the company "Crown Agents" signed with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine a procurement contract at the expense of the state budget in 2017.
