For courage and heroism in battle with Russian invaders almost 2,300 of our troopers received state awards, 7 of them were awarded with the title of Hero of Ukraine.

The President stated that during the period of hostilities in Donbas 415 paratroopers were killed. He stressed the need to improve military capability and increase potential of airborne troops.
