President Petro Poroshenko plans dring this week to submit to the Verkhovna Rada candidates for members of the Central Election Commission. This was announced by the newly elected head of the "Block of Petro Poroshenko" faction in the Parliament Ihor Hryniv.
As known, seven-year term of office of 12 from the 15 members of the CEC expired two years ago. They continue to fulfill their obligations under the amendments to the Law "On the Central Election Commission." These changes have been made to ensure continuous election process during presidential elections.
