In 2022 Svitlana Sharamok had to flee from her home for the second time. But still she was not able to handle shellings around the clock. What is it like to balance between saving one’s life, supporting one’s homeland and the feeling of guilt?

He was heavily wounded and is now practically blind. Nevertheless he risks being returned to the frontlines due to bureaucratic constraints.

Hanna Biliayeva from the Luhansk region. She is married to Oleksandr Biliayev, a fighter with the call sign “Freeman”. To this day he is Russian captivity. Hanna believes that one day he shall make it back home.

The story of Natalia Fokina’s fight. During civil time she was a costume designer at the Mykola Kulish Kherson region theatre of music and drama. In war time she became a partisan, helping to rid her home city from the occupiers.

Life after loss. Serhiy and Lyudmila lived a long life together and would do everything together. They had no common children.
