The state budget expenditures on measures related to the security of the Sarcophagus built over the ruined 4th unit of the Chornobyl NPP and preparation for the cessation of the operation of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant have been increased by UAH 143 million this year.
This is stated in the annex to the state budget, published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament).
According to the document, in general for these purposes 1 billion 41 million 800 thousand UAH is foreseen.
