Minister of Health of Ukraine Ulyana Suprun explained on what basis the newly established service will work.
She told this in an interview with the 5th Channel, Ukrinform reported.
"The National Health Service is the operator of the funds, that is, when a hospital, a doctor or an outpatient clinic sign a contract with the National Health Service , there are requirements for the hospital and the outpatient clinic, how they should provide services and how these services will be paid, and the National Health Service will be the operator of those funds - from the Treasury - directly to a hospital, a doctor or an outpatient clinic if all the requirements of the contract are fulfilled, "said Suprun.
According to her, the provisions on the establishment of the National Health Service were adopted during the Cabinet meeting.
"We were waiting for the President's signature on the bill, now it's a law and we can start looking for candidates to the post of the head of the Service from January," said Suprun.
