December 2017 in Kyiv became one of most warm winter monthes for 136 years of observation.
This is reported by the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory
"The average monthly air temperature in December was +1.6 degrees Celsius, exceeding the climatic norm by 3.9 degrees. The coldest temperature in Kyiv was on December 11, when the minimum temperature dropped to -3.8 degrees C, and the warmest - 5 days later, when the maximum temperature reached +9.8 degrees ", says a report on the site of the Observatory.
December became also the second most humid month since 1891, due to 129 millimeters of precipitation that have fallen in this month , which was 2.5 months norm, reported in the observatory.
