This is what expert Taras Zhovtenko said to National Radio by way of comment on the 77th place of Ukraine in the world ranking of SIPRI arms salesmen in the program "Today. Morning".
"If to compare Ukraine with the leaders of world arms trade, it is obvious that Ukraine specializes in the old types of post-Soviet armaments, on their modernization and servicing, which is, in fact, the niche Ukraine is currently occupying, striving to push Russia out of it. For the last few years, we are very good at it. We have become entrenched in the Asian markets - Libya, Thailand, Pakistan and some African countries."
