It is reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
"Thus, the right to export to the EU countries have been obtained by 289 Ukrainian enterprises, including 109 food manufacturers, in particular, producers of poultry meat, fish, honey, eggs, milk and dairy products," said in the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
This is the 24th Ukrainian company, producer of fish and fish products, which got the right to export their products to the EU countries. 180 companies producing non-food products of animal origin such as pulp, raw materials, feed for unproductive animals, offal, non-food, breeding material, and other non-food products of animal origin have also got the right to export their produce to the European Union.
Over 10 months of this year, Ukrainian exports to the EU grew by 30% compared to the previous year. The European Union's share in Ukraine's foreign trade has reached almost 43%. Soon, 50% of Ukraine's total commodity turnover will fall to the European Union.
Recall that in 2016 277 Ukrainian enterprises had the right to supply its products to European markets.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the export of Ukrainian agrarian products in 2016 increased by 4.5% compared to 2015 and amounted to USD 15.5 billion or 42.5% of Ukraine's total exports.
