Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has said that he has talked five or six times with U.S. State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker during recent days; they associate themselves with the situation in Donbas.
"It's been the fifth or the sixth conversation with Volker over the last few days. I'm grateful to the special representative for adherence to our common goal. We see that Russia is not interested in achieving peace, but wants to keep its colony in Donbas, leave everything as it is and even worsen the situation. The cat won't jump!" the Ukrainian foreign minister wrote on Twitter.
On November 13, the third meeting between Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and the United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Kurt Volker took place, who discussed the situation in the Donbass. The United States allegedly made 29 proposals to the Russian draft resolution of the Council of Europe on peacekeepers in the East of Ukraine, but only three points of 29 allegedly proposed by the United States at the meeting were accepted by Russia.
