The government's economic committee on November 9 approved the rules of distributing the money of the state road fund, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion has said.
"Ukravtodor that will manage general public roads will distribute 60% of the road fund's money. 35% of funds will be sent to regional administrations, which from January 1, 2018 will maintain local roads. 5% of the road fund will be allocated for road safety," he wrote on his Facebook page.
Kistion said that this is reflected in the draft national budget of Ukraine for 2018, which the lawmakers will consider next week.
As reported, on November 17, 2016 the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill on the creation of the state road fund.
