Fitch Rating expects the next IMF tranche for Ukraine in the amount of about 1.9 billion dollars to be issued after approval of the budget for 2018.

"Fitch expects the next tranche of the program next year after the approval of the 2018 budget and the agreement between the IMF and the Government of Ukraine on changes to the formula for adjusting heating tariffs in households," the report said.
Further payments from the IMF and other international partners will depend on the progress of structural reforms, first of all - land reform, as well as progress in the pace of privatization and the fight against corruption.
According to the agency's forecasts, Ukraine's external financing needs in 2018-2019 will average 70% of international reserves. The organization also expects that the current account deficit will increase to 4.1% of GDP in 2017 and an average of 4% in 2018-2019.
