The Premier expects that a bill on the health care reform will be approved this autumn.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman stated this during a government meeting.
"I would like to say about the health care system - we have actually begun systemic changes. On the one hand, we have made changes to the legislation that are currently tabled in the parliament, and we also expect that this autumn we will make important fundamental decisions that will allow to change the system of health care ," said Groisman.
According to him, changes resulting from medical reform should be felt both by doctors and patients. At the same time, the Prime Minister recalled that in Ukraine "Available medications " program is implemented, which, according to him, has been already used by 3.5 million citizens. It is also planned to create 13 cardiology centers in the regions.
In addition, the Head of Government assured that the innovations introduced earlier in the system of public procurement of medicines are effective and already give positive results. Groisman also expressed the hope that the implementation of the rural medicine program initiated by the President will be successful.
