Obolonskiy district court of Kyiv, which today continued the trial of treason of former fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych asks the High Council of Justice to verify the information on elements of alleged pressure on the court contained in the statements of the leaders of power structures. Thus, the judges satisfied the request of the defense. Yanukovych's lawyers believe that Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, Anatoliy Matios, military prosecutor and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov by some of their statements could put pressure on the court.
