After the fire at the ammo depots and detonation of explosives Balaklia and surrounding areas need improvement of environmental conditions. This was stated by Minister of Environment Ostap Semerak.
He said that representatives of environmental inspection already took samples of earth and water at different points in the city, but the results are not yet ready.
The minister said the military assured that chemical weapons has not been stored in Balaklia. However detonation of explosives poses a threat to the environment.
