This was announced by Minister of Information Policy Yuri Stets. According to him, Ukrainian journalist's trip to the Russian capital was not connected with the editorial task.
On October 1 a Court of Moscow arrested Roman Sushchenko on charges of espionage. The Russian Federal Security Service said it has detained "career officer of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Department Col. Roman Sushchenko conducting an espionage mission who"was intentionally gathering state secrets - information about the activity of the Russian Armed Forces and the National Guard," it said.The Defense Ministry of Ukraine denies such accusations.
