Ukraine to increase gas import from EU

Ukraine for this year increased twofold natural gas imports from the EU compared to the same period of last year - to more than 10 billion cubic meters, the press service of "Ukrtransgaz"informed.
According to its data , more than 80 percent of natural gas was imported from Slovakia. Ukraine imported only 6 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia this year. It is the smallest amount of Russian gas that Ukraine bought from Russia over the years of cooperation.
