Next year the government will allocate about UAH 6 billion for regional development, infrastructure projects, including UAH 159 billion for united territorial communities. This was stated by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on the "Ten minutes with the prime minister" TV program.
He stressed that decentralization - one of the key reforms introduced this year. The government has already transferred a number of powers to the regions, including functions on registration of business, real estate, creating Centres of administrative services.
Yatsenyuk also stressed that the radical reform of single social security tax requires from business understanding, responsibility and position. He said that single social security tax was halved from 41% to 22% to stimulate business. The Premier said that the government took a liability that despite the reduction of the tax, the Pension Fund would fulfill its liabilities and provided UAH 100 billion to the fund.
