CEC should decide on date of elections in Mariupol

The date of the elections in Mariupol should be determined not by the Parliament, but by the Central Election Commission.

This is the opinion of of head of the parliamentary faction of "Samopomich" in the Ukrainian Parliament Oleg Berezyuk.

The politician stressed the need to adhere to current legislation: no additional decrees should be made but the parliament should recognize elections in Mariupol as the ones that have not taken place, and to appoint a new vote. At October 26 meeting of the Coalition majority failed to find consensus on election date in Mariupol. Consideration of the issue is planned to be continued on October 27.
