Ukrainian athlete Andriy Makarchev has won a gold medal in the long jump in the Russian Winter IAAF Permit Indoor Meetings in Moscow, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Athletics Federation.
Makarchev hit the mark of 8.04 meters, showing the season's second result in the world. The list of the International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) is topped by Ukrainian athlete Viktor Kuznetsov (8.05 meters).
