IMF mission starts working in Ukraine

“It will check whether we follow the IMF program or not,” finance minister Natalie Jaresko said noting the fifth tranche [of the IMF loan, including two tranches under the Stand-By Arrangement] are expect to be successfully obtained, “and we will continue increasing our reserves,” the minister said. The mission will work in Ukraine through to October 2. As we have reported the Extended Fund Facility programme for Ukraine worth 17.5 billion dollars was approved by the IMF in March.
