Trio of Bandura players of Ukrainian Radio presents: "To you, Ukraine, with love ..."

The concert "To You, Ukraine, with Love" will be held at the Ukrainian Radio House on January 15th at 19:00. The concert was titled so as part of the cycle "Radio" Culture presenting" by the initiators - bandura player of the Ukrainian Radio - People's Artist of Ukraine Tetyana Malomuzh and laureates of the international musical competitions Kateryna Kovryk and Kateryna Shepelyuk.

Bandura players trio - a new form of vocal instrumental ensemble of musicians playing on bandura - was created in the 50's of the twentieth century. Its author is a well-known bandura player, singer, conductor and teacher, the founder and artistic director of the Poltava bandurist chapel Volodymyr Kabachok. In 1952, he created the First Bandura players Trio at the Kyiv State Philharmonic. And it was an unforgettable trio consisting of Tamara Polishchuk (lyric-coloratura soprano), Valentina Tretyakova (mezzo soprano) and Nina Pavlenko (soprano).
