ATO: Militants in Donbas violate ceasefire regime

Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas three times in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters has reported.

"In total, three attacks on ATO forces by militants were recorded in the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian military did not succumb to the aggressor's provocations and did return fire. As a result of the shelling not a single Ukrainian serviceman was killed, but two of our defenders were injured," the ATO staff said on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

In the Luhansk sector, the enemy used infantry weapons near the Svitlodarska Duha bulge. At first, the militants fired a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher on the defenders of the village of Luhanske, and later they provoked the defenders of the village of Travneve, using small arms.

In the Donetsk sector, the invaders violated ceasefire in the Mariupol sector. In particular, they opened fire from small arms, heavy machine guns, and launched eight 82mm mines on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Pavlopil.
