A mandate of a possible UN-led peacekeeping mission to Donbas should allow such a mission to work throughout the territory not controlled by the Ukrainian government and its participants should be armed, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said.
"It should be an armed and strong UN peacekeeping mission, which should be present in the occupied territory instead of only guarding OSCE representatives as a small group," Gabriel said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Kyiv .
