Since beginning of the year, 90 cases of botulism registered in Ukraine

To restore tthe audits of business entities on compliance with the standards of production, storage and sale of products will become possible thanks to the law "On state control in the field of food safety", which will come into force in April next year. Its introduction is connected, in particular, with the fact that from the beginning of the year there were registered 90 cases of botulism, nine of which ended with the death of the patient. A quarter of the cases is the so-called industrial botulism - people ate fish affected by botultoxin or canned food bought in supermarkets.
