Another UAH 32 billion may be written off as they relate to the Bank's shareholders and non-current deposit accounts. This was reported by the National Bank Govenor Valeria Hontaryeva. As earlier reported, on December 18 the government decided to nationalize "PrivatBank".
Finance Minister Olexander Danyluk does not rule out the possibility of combining "PrivatBank" with the "Savings Bank"(OshchadBank) . The decision on nationalization of "PrivatBank" was supported by the IMF and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as by the G7 countries, the EU and the US.
