Ukraine goes 23 positions up in Paying Taxes ranking

"Ukraine has moved 23 positions up in Paying Taxes ranking, which assesses the ease of paying taxes. Of course, it is a positive result, but is that sufficient for us? Does business in Ukraine have all the necessary conditions for development? Do we want to remain the 84th out of 190 countries? Obviously, we do not. We need to significantly simplify tax administration, to remove opportunities for corruption, to reform the State Fiscal Service. These are the main problems the business faces up as I hear at every meeting with entrepreneurs," Danylyuk said. "We need to constantly make such steps and work together to create conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and economic growth. However, we will be able to do this only when the government and the business work together," the Minister added.
